According to a criminal complaint, during the month of May of 2017, a controlled drug buy was conducted utilizing a confidential informant (C.I.) and observed by Attorney General Drug Task Force Agents. The controlled buy was conducted utilizing the C.I. to make calls and text messages on various dates and times to Ian Haux. These communications were identified to include business practices involving the sale, distribution, and trafficking of illegal controlled substances.

The C.I. contacted Haux who then facilitated a controlled buy and drug delivery, which was observed by Attorney General Drug Task Force Agents. Haux was positively identified by one of the agents. The controlled buy took place at an undisclosed location where the C.I. exchanged an undisclosed amount of money for an undisclosed amount of methamphetamine under constant observation by Drug Task Force Agents.

Based on the investigation, Haux was arraigned at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 4, in Magisterial District Judge Matthew T. Kirtland’s office.

His bail was set at $10,000.00 monetary.

Haux is lodged in the Venango County Jail.
