OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — A man is facing terroristic threats and related charges after allegedly making threatening statements to a victim in Oil City.

According to court documents, the Oil City Police Department filed the following criminal charges against 29-year-old Jacob Robert Clark, listed as a transient:

– Terroristic Threats W/Intent To Terrorize Another, Misdemeanor 1
– Simple Assault, Misdemeanor 2

According to a criminal complaint, around 4:28 p.m. on December 10, Jacob Clark engaged in a verbal altercation with his grandmother regarding the use of her motor vehicle.

During the altercation, a known man “attempted to assist the grandmother to her motor vehicle. Jacob Clark became irate and pushed (the known man) out of the way,” the complaint states.

Clark allegedly made statements to the known man, such as “You don’t know what I’m capable of” and “I will kill you,” according to the complaint.

Clark ran from the residence when he learned that police had been contacted to respond to the incident.

While on the scene speaking with the known man, Clark called the house telephone. Officer Anderson, of the Oil City Police Department, spoke with Jacob Clark and requested that he return to the address to provide police with a statement. Clark advised that he would not return because he knew that he would be arrested, the complaint states.

Consequently, an arrest warrant was issued for Clark.

He was arraigned at 7:55 p.m. on December 10 in Magisterial District Judge Matthew T. Kirtland’s office.

Clark is free on $10,000.00 unsecured bail.
