Constance H. “Connie” Brindle, 84, of Marienville, passed away Monday, July 31, 2017, at Jefferson Manor in Brookville.

Born September 8, 1932 in Hottleville, Forest County, she was the daughter of the late Douglas J. and Rachel M. Naylor Moore.

On September 1, 1969 she was married to Robert G. Brindle who preceded her in death.

Connie retired from Knox Glass of Marienville and was a member of the Greenwood United Methodist Church.

Connie dearly loved her family and friends. She enjoyed visiting and was always ready for a good game of cards.

She was very knowledgeable of her family tree and family photographs brought her much joy.

She was very talented with crocheting, making hundreds of afghans and doilies as well as hats, mittens, potholders and doll clothes with every stitch being perfect.

She was a gifted baker and cook and was well-known for her homemade breads, cinnamon rolls, pies, cakes, cookies and wonderful home cooked meals. She also had a great love of birds and enjoyed the many bird knick-knacks gifted to her to add to her collection.

Her survivors include two brothers, William Moore, of Marienville and John Moore, and his wife, Regina, of Kane; a sister, Marie Silvis, of Perry, Ohio; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews who she treated as if they were her own.

She is also survived by her friend and caregiver Shirley Moyer of Marienville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and additionally a brother, Warren “Reed” Moore; and two sisters, Mildred “Millie” Everett and an infant.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at the convenience of her family.
