Cooperstown Man Accused of Retail Theft at Local Business

Police LightsCOOPERSTOWN, Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police say a retail theft was reported at Take It Easy Country Store located on State Route 417, in Cooperstown, Venango County.

According to police, around 4:00 p.m. on October 9, a known Cooperstown man allegedly entered Take It Easy Country Store and “helped himself to two cups of coffee without paying.”

The suspect also allegedly took a key that belongs to the outside ice machine, police say.

The total value of the theft is as follows: coffee $1.50, key $1.00 – total $2.50.
