VENANGO COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) – State Police in Franklin are investigating two separate cases involving the theft of copper wire.

The first incident occurred at 460 Upper Sage Run Road in Cranberry Township on 4/14/12 when someone stole approximately 400 feet of copper wire. The victim is listed as a 29-year-old Oil City woman.

The second incident occurred sometime between 2/5/12 and 5/5/12 when someone stole “numerous lengths of grounding wire and a grounding bar” from a Verizon Wireless Tower in Cranberry Township.
