Cornplanter Crash Sends Local Woman to Hospital

CORNPLANTER TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Police say a local woman was rushed to UPMC Northwest following a crash in Cornplanter Township early Thursday afternoon.

According to police, around 1:25 p.m. on Thursday, November 15, Joselyn N. Neely, 22, of Titusville, was operating a 2017 Kia Sorrento, traveling north on State Route 8.

Police say Neely lost control of her vehicle, causing it to travel off the east side of the roadway and strike a guide rail with its front passenger.

Neely was wearing a seatbelt. Cornplanter Volunteer Fire Department Ambulance transported her to UPMC Northwest for treatment of unknown injuries.

The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene by Venango Towing.
