Corry O’Neill

4c35324e263c21a5Corry O’Neill, 42 of Gaithersburg, MD, formerly of Knox died Sunday, October 26, 2014, unexpectedly.

Born August 3, 1972, in Clarion he was the son of Linda Beck and Terry O’Neill. On October 27, 2001, Corry married Shannon Kahle O’Neill. Corry and Shannon spent twenty years of their lives together. They were the loves of each other lives.

Corry was a compassionate, caring man who befriended all and never knew a stranger.

As all who knew Corry can attest he was a true intellectual. The pursuit of spiritual wisdom & knowledge was simply a way of life for him, and he was both a gift and a challenge to everyone who went deep into conversation with him.

At the same time Corry was also loveable & very much loved. The numerous lives he touched will forever bear his impression. He was a good brother, friend and counselor to his parents and wife and a wonderful son and companion that will be missed more than words can do justice.

Corry graduated from Keystone High School, and then continued his education at several universities over the years.

He was currently a Senior Web Developer at My Samaris, Inc, in Arlington VA. Corry is survived by his mother Linda (Randy) Beck, father Terry (Lisa) O’Neill, five siblings Sadie Beck, Adam (Mandy) Beck, Brendan Beck, Teighlor O’Neill and Justin O’Neill.

Also surviving are his mother in law Judy (Dominic) Moriarty of Wooster, OH, a brother in law Ian (Pam) Miller of Pittsburgh and numerous nieces and nephews. Corry was preceded in death by a sister Lacey O’Neill, his grandparents Dick and Gloria Rudolph and Pat and June O’Neill.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday November 1, 2014 at the Knox United Methodist Church in Knox with Pastor Dave Coull officiating.
