FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) – Franklin Police responded to a domestic assault in the city late Monday afternoon.

Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Otter Street around 4:35 p.m.

According to police, a 22-year-old female stated that she was assaulted and had visible signs of injury.

Upon investigation, 30-year-old Joshua Michael Carone, of Franklin, was arrested and charged with Terroristic Threats W/ Intent To Terrorize Another, Simple Assault, and Harassment.

He was lodged in the Venango County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Carone faces a preliminary hearing in Venango County Central Court on December 9.
