FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) – An Oil City teen facing several criminal charges waived his preliminary hearing on Wednesday in Central Court.

According to court documents, charges against 18-year-old Khane Aquemini Bisho Mabin,  of Oil City, has been transferred to the Venango County Court of Common Pleas.

Mabin was charged with a dozen counts after two separate incidents last fall.

The first incident allegedly occurred at an Oil City residence on September 9 in which Mabin is accused of sexual assault and other crimes. The second occurred on December 19 at Oil City High School when he was accused of threatening to shoot up the school.

Mabin faces the following charges stemming from the September incident:

– Statutory Sexual Assault: 4-8 Years Older, Felony 2
– Corruption Of Minors – Defendant Age 18 or Above, Felony 3
– Indecent Assault Person Less than 16 Years of Age, Misdemeanor 2
– Corruption of Minors, Misdemeanor 1 (three counts)
– Sell/Furnish Liquor, Etc. Minor, Misdemeanor 3 (three counts)
– Purchase Etc Alcoholic Beverage By A Minor, Summary

A criminal complaint filed at District Judge Andrew F. Fish’s office indicates Mabin is accused of misconduct involving multiple juveniles between the hours of 10:00 p.m. on September 9 and 5:00 a.m. on September 10.

According to the criminal complaint, Mabin attended a September 9 party with a juvenile male where underage drinking occurred. During the party, Mabin allegedly messaged and agreed to meet an underage girl at her home.

Mabin and the juvenile male left the party and traveled to the girl’s home, according to the criminal complaint.

The criminal complaint states that Mabin allegedly furnished alcoholic beverages to three minors at the residence.

The girl stated that she asked Mabin to come to her home, the criminal complaint indicates.

Two juveniles at the residence told police they saw Mabin and the girl “making out.” After the other juveniles went to sleep, Mabin allegedly got into the girl’s bed and had consensual sex with her, according to the criminal complaint.

The girl’s grandmother said she went to check on her granddaughter, and Mabin rolled off of the bed and onto the floor, wearing only boxers. The grandmother also stated that she saw open beer cans throughout the room and could hear cans “clanging” in Mabin’s backpack, the complaint states.

Another male juvenile interviewed by the police said that he had no direct knowledge of sexual acts between Mabin and the girl; however, he told police that Mabin offered to compensate him “to say he was with him and nothing occurred (between Mabin and the girl),” according to the criminal complaint.

In the December 19 incident, a known male student told faculty at the school that Mabin threatened to “shoot up” the school. Mabin allegedly asked the known male to join him in the act.

Police say Mabin admitted to officers that he made the statements.

Mabin faces charges of a first-degree misdemeanor Terroristic Threats and third-degree Disorderly Conduct in this case.

He remains lodged in the Venango County Jail on $50,000.00 monetary bail.
