Cranberry Area Cross Country Team Represent District IX at Hershey Invitational

cross country 2HERSHEY, Pa. – Cross Country Teams from North Clarion, Cranberry, and Clarion Area School Districts traveled to Hershey to compete in the 9th annual PIAA Foundation Race.

District medal winners include: North Clarion’s Isaac Wilson at 5th place followed by Cranberry’s Harrison Keenan and Sam Lander in 10th and 11th respectively.

Other top finishers include:

GIRLS:
North Clarion: Abbie Schmader (32), Michaela Higgins (75), Cassie Kriebel (124)
Cranberry: Kristin Reynolds (40), Tifany Berry (45), Samantha Woolcock (50)
Clarion: Katie Craig (61), Chelsea Mason (98) and Gabbie Fleming (117)

BOYS:
North Clarion: Isaiah Greibel (37), Isaac Kaye (63), and Joshua Homan (153)
Cranberry: Nolan Brannon (43), Jared Daily (45), Paul Zacherl (72)
Clarion: Crowe Theim (81), Jimmy Smathers (82), Kyle Bettwy (117)

Ridgway School District sent two representatives: Luke Geyer and Jake Mercer finished 22nd and 36th respectively.

Twenty-seven Class A schools sent girls teams while 30 sent boys teams.
