ROCKLAND TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A Cranberry man is facing Simple Assault charges following an alleged incident on January 29 in Rockland Township, Venango County.

Franklin-based State Police say an investigation was conducted into a domestic dispute that occurred Thursday around 5:30 p.m. on Seneca Hardwood Road.

Police say the dispute involved Clark J. Hepler, 43, of Cranberry, and a known 42-year-old woman.

Following the investigation, Clark J. Hepler was taken into custody on Simple Assault charges.

He was placed in the Venango County Jail and later released after posting $25,000 cash bail.

A preliminary hearing is set for February 4 in Venango County Central Court.
