CRAWFORD COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) — According to sources, two Meadville area men have been held for court for the three Crawford County bars armed robberies in July.

Sources say Michael Duane Ferguson and Harry Willard Boyer are expected to appear in court in January for the armed robberies of the Owl’s Nest, Double D’s, and Nate’s Bar in July.

Ferguson has been accused of firing a gun in the air and demanding money in each incident.

Boyer — who is Ferguson’s landlord — admitted to driving Ferguson to each of the crime scenes; he claims he did it because Ferguson threatened to hurt him or his family if he refused.

Both Ferguson and Boyer remain in the Crawford County Jail awaiting arraignment on October 19.
