CRAWFORD COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) — Sources say around 10:30 a.m. on Friday, a Crawford County woman and her 3-year-old son were killed in an accident on Route 408, in Richmond Township, Crawford County.

According to a published article in Venango County Daily News, 42-year-old Susan Martin of Centerville was traveling on Route 408 and lost control of her minivan on the snow and ice covered roads.

Sources say her vehicle traveled into the path of a tractor-trailer operated by 47-year-old Robert Baughman of Townville.

Baughman’s truck hit the passenger’s side of Martin’s vehicle, according to sources.

Both Martin and her son were pronounced dead at the scene.

No other details were provided.
