Roman was the leading scorer for Clarion last week, recording one goal and two assists in what turned out to be a 2-0 week for the Golden Eagles. The junior forward started the week by scoring the game-winning goal in a non-conference game against Ursuline, filling the net with less than six minutes remaining in regulation to push Clarion to a 2-1 win over the Arrows. On Sunday against Mansfield, she assisted on both Clarion goals, setting up Veronika Noyszewski and Dani McNally for goals less than three minutes apart in the first half. Roman is now tied for the team lead in points.

The Golden Eagles will be back in action on Wednesday when they take on Pitt-Johnstown. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m.
