Cynthia L. Sullivan Greenawalt, 60, of Shippenville, formerly of Callensburg, PA. passed away Thursday morning at the Shippenville Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Butler, PA. on Dec. 6, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Joanne Welsh Sullivan.

Protestant by Faith, Cynthia was married to the late Mark S. Greenawalt on June 19, 1982. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends. Earlier in life she was employed by Penn Grove in Knox, and Emery’s Outlet in Callensburg.

She is survived by one son: Richard Scott Greenawalt and companion Joanie Pugh, of Meadville; three daughters: Angela Greenawalt of Erie; Melissa Mortland of Strattenville; Jessica Greenawalt of Meadville; two sisters: Sherrie Mechling of Sugarcreek; Laura Buttray of Meadville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mark S. Greenawalt who passed away May 2, 2008.

Friends may call from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday at the H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, 201 So. Wayne Ave., Parker, where funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM.
