Daisy Ann Gilmore died Oct. 8, 2015 at the Golden Living in Clarion.

She was born in Utica, Pennsylvania on April 29, 1925 to Ray V. and Daisy Mae (Boughner) Mitchell. In 1945 she married Andrew P. Gilmore, who preceded her in death in 1983.

Daisy Ann graduated from high school in Utica and went on to become a LPN, working at Oil City Hospital and later at Kenosha (Wisconsin) Memorial Hospital.

She is survived by one son, Daniel E. (Sandra) Gilmore of Kenosha, WI; two daughters, Judith A. (Gary) Smith of Racine, WI, and Patricia J. (Thomas) Griffin, of Springfield, MO; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are two sons, William and David; two brothers, James and Charles Mitchell and sister, Phyllis Edmunds.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015 at the Franklin Cemetery.
