Daniel Lee Bailey, 31, of Leeper, passed away unexpectedly on June 20, 2018.

He was born on June 2, 1987, in Clarion; son of Gerald Bailey of Mechanicsville and Janet Bailey of Clarion.

Dan attended Keystone High School and also the Clarion County Career Center where he took welding for two years.

He worked at Clarion Bathware for a number of years and had many coworkers that were more like family.

In his spare time, Dan enjoyed working on cars and spending time with his beloved dogs, Xena and Chevy, whom he cared for more than life itself. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Dan was such a compassionate person and wore his heart on his sleeve. He would help anyone out and would give the shirt off his back to the person that needed it more.

Dan is survived by his parents, a brother, Cory Bailey of Clarion, a sister, Megan Bailey and her fiancé Steven Burleson of Clarion, a niece, Carmyn Burleson, and two nephews, Silas and Malachi Burleson. He is also survived by his paternal grandmother, Joanne Bailey of Shippenville, his maternal grandfather, Clarence Siegel of Fryburg, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parental grandfather, John Bailey and his maternal grandmother, Mary Ellen Siegel.

Dan’s family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 24, 2018, at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 25, 2018, at the Funeral Home.
