Daryl Wayne Kruse, 68, of Marienville, died Sunday, October 15, 2017, at the Snyder Memorial Home in Marienville.

Born January 31, 1949, in Erie, PA, he was the son of the late Earl Wayne and Betty Jean (Randall) Kruse.

Mr. Kruse graduated from Fairview High School. He then went on to receive an Associate’s Degree from Erie Business Center.

On July 24, 1971, he married the former Donna Jean McMillen in Fairview, PA; she survives and lives in Marienville.

Mr. Kruse worked as a plant manager for KB Pizza in Franklin, a project manager at the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences in Ann Arbor, MI, and as a manufacturing engineer at General Electric in Erie. He last worked as a plant manager at Kahle’s Kitchen in Leeper until his retirement in May of 2004.

He was a Christian for most of his life and shared his faith with all he knew.

Mr. Kruse was a member of the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Brooke Hepler and her husband, Dale, of Marienville; a son Daryl Kruse Jr. and his wife, Lisa, of Louisville, OH; and his grandchildren, Gianna and Vincent Kruse.

Also surviving are two brothers, Doug Kruse and his wife, Deb, of Fairview, PA and Dana Kruse and his wife, Gina, of Fairview, PA; a sister-in-law, Connie Young and her husband, Tom, of Clarion; a brother-in-law, Bill McMillen and his wife, Lisa, of Clarion; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, October 17, 2017, from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the Furlong Funeral Home, 140 Cherry Street, Marienville, PA.

Funeral services will be private. Interment will be at the Scotch Hill Cemetery, Clarion County, PA.

The family suggests memorial donations be made to Charitable Deeds in Knox, PA.
