David Alan Shick Jr., 39, of Shippenville, Pa., passed away September 18, 2012 at the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital after a sudden illness.

Born on April 7, 1973 he was the son of David Shick Sr., and Sandra Buzard, both of whom survive. Upon graduation of Barrington High School, David obtained a degree in Criminal Justice from Harper Community College. He was later employed as a supervisor with Clarion Fiberboard.
