David John Duncan, age 94, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2015, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.

He was born in Ramseytown, PA, on July 28, 1921, to David Chrystal and Margaret (Allen) Duncan. He was married on September 19, 1946, in Fraklin, PA, to Betty (Ent) Duncan; who preceded him in death on April 18, 2014. He served his country as a member of the United States Army, during World War II.

He was a long time member of the Presbyterian Church in Brookville PA; Fraternal Order of Eagles #983 in Brookville PA; Pine Crest Country Club, Boy Scout leader troop 264; and was part of the Masonic lodges in Brookville and Coudersport, PA, in which is was a past Master and Grand Master in PA. In April of this year, he received his 50-year ring as a member of the Masons.

He is survived by two daughters, Crystal (Larry) Wilson; Tammy (Jeff) LaPlante; and one son, David A. (Jane E.) Duncan; 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by 4 sisters.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, August 5, 2015, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the McKinney Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Brookville, PA, 15825. A Masonic Service will be held during the evening visitation beginning at 7:30pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2015, beginning at 11am, also taking place at the funeral home.

Interment will take place at Brookville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Presbyterian Church, White and Main St., Brookville, PA, 15825.
