David L. Dunkle, 67, of 113 Evergreen Lane, Oil City, PA., died at 9:15 P.M. Thursday Feb. 9, 2017 at UPMC-Hamot in Erie.

Born June 30, 1949 in Oil City, PA., he was the son of Patricia Carson.

David was a graduate of Oil City High School.

He had been a member of the Painters Union.

In younger years, Dave was active with the Boy Scouts of America.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, singing and playing his guitar, shooting pool, dancing and watching football.

He is survived by four children, David Dunkle Jr. of California, Dayna Dunkle of North Carolina, Stacy Dunkle of Oil City, and Chad Dunkle of Oil City; two grandchildren, Aiden Hutchinson and Nysanity Dunkle.

He is also survived by a sister Kim Burkhardt.

He was preceded in death by a brother Donald Dunkle.

There will be no viewing or visitation.

Funeral Services will take place at the convenience of the family.
