David R. Fingado

David R. Fingado, 78, of Clarion, died at his home on Tuesday, October 24, 2017.

Born May 17, 1939, in Hancock NY Delaware County, he was the son of the late Edwin R. and Pearl (Wood) Fingado.

David was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army.

He was married to Mable S. Sayers on November 13, 1965, at the Zion Baptist Church in Reidsburg, PA.

He was self-employed in the auto body and car sales business until his retirement in 2001.

He was of the Protestant faith.

His hobbies included watching NASCAR, Dirt Track Racing, and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He is survived by three sons, Brian (Jenne) Fingado of Williamsburg, PA, Burton (Cindy) Fingado of Knox, PA, Blaine (Lara) Fingado of Mooresville, NC; a daughter Brenda (Perry) Case of Pierrepont Manor, NY; two sisters Joyce (Lowell) Gahagen, of Fairmount City, PA, Dawn (Everett) Stahlman of Mayport, PA; thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

David is preceded in death by two brothers, Harvey and Vincent Fingado.

Friends and family will be received on Saturday, October 28, 2017, from 1 – 3 PM at the Cottage Hill Wesleyan Methodist Church located at 21 Champion Road, New Bethlehem, PA.

A memorial service will be held at 3 PM with Rev. Perry Case officiating.

Interment will be in the Salem Cemetery, Frogtown, Limestone Twp. Clarion Co. PA.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad Street, Summerville, PA.
