Daylight Closures Scheduled for Nebraska Road in Forest County

penndotFOREST CO., Pa. – Maintenance work on Nebraska Road (Route 3004) in Green Township, Forest County will require daylight closures starting next month.

Employees of PennDOT’s Forest County maintenance unit will replace several pipes beneath the roadway.

The work is scheduleD to begin the week of August 3, 2017.

During the work, closures will be in place from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. weekdays. Nebraska Road will be closed to through traffic from the intersection with Sage Road (Route 3005) to the intersection with Guitonville Road. A detour will be posted using Route 36 and Sage Road.

The work is expected to be completed in early September 2017.

PennDOT urges motorists to slow down when driving in work zones, and also to be alert to changing conditions, avoid distractions and to pay attention to signs and flaggers. Drive responsibly in work zones for your safety and the safety of the workers.
