Dead Body Found in Forest County

HOWE TWP., Pa. (EYT) – The body of a 36-year-old man was found yesterday in Howe Township, Forest County.

Clarion-based state police tell exploreClarion.com that the body of 36-year-old Theodore Amick, of Indiana, Pa., was found along a dirt lane near SR-666 in Howe Township, Forest County.

Police say Amick’s body was found on a piece of property that is currently for sale.

The individuals who discovered his body were looking at the property.

Limited information has been obtained at this point, but police say the victim may have been the subject of an ongoing investigation in Allegheny County.

Police say the investigation of Amick’s death is ongoing.

Initial reports list the nature of his death as a suicide.
