ARMSTRONG CO., Pa. (EYT) — Two men were killed in a crash that occurred Sunday night in Armstrong County.

According to the Pittsburgh Tribune Review, the crash occurred around 9:40 p.m. on Sunday, December 23, on Freeport Road in South Buffalo Township.

Armstrong County Coroner Brian K. Myers said 49-year-old Daniel Lee Fullerton Jr., of Freeport, was operating a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer, traveling south on Freeport Road when the vehicle went off the road while negotiating a left-hand curve.

When the vehicle re-entered the roadway, it struck a northbound 2015 Honda Pilot operated by John Clark, of South Dakota, and then overturned, landing on its roof.

Neither Fullerton nor his passenger, 57-year-old Gregory Sabattini, also of Freeport, were wearing seatbelts. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The deaths were ruled accidental, but toxicology tests are pending.
