Munro, Deborah “Debi” Stewart, beloved wife, mother and grandmother went home to be with Jesus on November 18, 2014.

Debi was born March 9, 1956 in Pittsburgh, PA, to Nancy & Melvin Stewart. On February 18, 2005, she married David Munro in Sarasota, FL before moving to Wichita, KS. She volunteered at Ark Valley Animal Hospital in Valley Center, KS and attended Maranatha Worship Center. Debi had a love for all animals passionately, but especially loved Josie, her precious dog. She enjoyed singing, playing guitar, traveling, scrap booking and being a grandmother.

Debi was preceded in death by her parents; stepson Jason Munro; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Sharon and Jim Patrick. Survivors include her loving husband David; daughter Kristy (Selvin) Vasquez; daughter-in-law Heather Munro; father-in-law Dr. Bruce Munro; grandchildren Christian and Joseph Vasquez, Alexis and Matthew DaCunha, Joshua Rivas and Hailey Munro; siblings, Bonnie (Homer) Knox, John (Maria) Stewart, Mary Stewart, Becky (Dr. Tim) Brooks, Susan Michelsen, Beth (Mike) Ricci; David’s sisters, Pam (Duane) Ferguson, Darlene (Greg) Lester; 14 nieces and nephews; 7 great-grand nephews.
Viewing with family will be held on Friday, November 21, from 4-8 PM at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd. Derby, KS.
A service of sharing will be held from 7-8pm. Funeral service: 11 AM Saturday, November 22, 2014, Maranatha Worship Center, 888 S. Webb Rd, Wichita. A memorial service will be held at 10am Wednesday, November 26, 2014 in Sarasota, Florida at the Tabernacle, 4141 DeSota Road. Memorials to: Lifeline Animal Placement & Protection (LAPP) or Maranatha Worship Center.
