Debra J. Prichard, 46 of Cooperstown, passed away at 10:55 P.M. on Monday, November 20, 2017, at her residence following a courageous five year battle with pancreatic cancer.

Born in Sharon, PA on January 29, 1971, she was the daughter of Linda Dingman Trikur and the late Edward Trikur.

She was a graduate of Franklin High School and attended Gannon University.
Debra worked as a Residential Services Night Supervisor at Polk Center retiring after 25 years. She truly loved her work and went above and beyond to help ensure that residents had everything they needed.

She lived her life by always putting everyone else first and taking care those she loved. Her husband Don stated that “Debbie was one of the best people God ever put on this earth.”

She had many musical talents including the piano, flute, and French horn. For a number of years, she performed with the Silver Coronet Band.

Debbie loved to ride her Yamaha motorcycle and was an avid pool player. She played in the Franklin Eight Ball Valley league and the League of Hope which helped raise money for needy children. She was a dog lover, and always cherished her favorite dog, Zoey.

Above everything, Debbie loved her family and friends, especially spending time with her grandchildren and niece, Grace. She also enjoyed traveling to California to visit her many cousins.

On October 11, 1997, she married Donald A. Prichard and he survives.

Also surviving is her mother Linda Trikur of Franklin; a brother, John Trikur and his wife Beth and their daughter Grace of Corry, PA; mother and father in law, Ann and Jim Fike of Cooperstown; brother in law, Steve Prichard and his wife Natalie of Cooperstown; brother in law, Mark Baker; step brother in law, Rick Fike of Rocky Grove; step sister in law, Brenda McCool and her husband Jeff of Dempseytown; step daughter, Jessica Peters and her husband Brian of Stoneboro; step son, Coty Prichard of Slippery Rock.

Additionally surviving are three grandchildren, Hunter Prichard, Mackenzie Peters, and Bentley Peters.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Grace and Paul Dingman and William and Sophia Trikur; sister in law, Vicki Baker and a grandson Nolan Peters.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday in St. John’s Episcopal Church, 1145 Buffalo St. Franklin with Rev. Elizabeth Yale, officiating.

A gathering time will be held after the service in the church fellowship hall where light refreshments will be provided.

Interment will be made at Oak Hill Cemetery in Sandy Lake.
