Oil City Woman Waives Hearing on Criminal Use of Communication Facility Charge
VENANGO CO., Pa. (EYT) – An Oil City woman waived her preliminary hearing on felony criminal use of communication facility charge this week.
According to court documents, on Wednesday, June 20, in Magisterial District Judge Andrew F. Fish’s office, one count of third-degree felony criminal use of a communication facility against 35-year-old Dee Ann Weckerly of Oil City was waived for court.
Weckerly was released on Wednesday, May 9, on a surety posted by a professional bondsman.
Charges have been transferred to the Venango County Court of Common Pleas.
According to police, Weckerly was accused of facilitating the sale of methamphetamine.
