Dee NewhouseDeolia (Dee) Newhouse 99, of Aspen, Colorado, formerly of Fisher, died on Saturday, November 22, 2014, at her home.

She was born in Rockland on February 16, 1915 to Rosa Gates Moore and Carl Moore.

Dee was a 1933 graduate of the Rockland High School. She worked as a beautician for her aunt in Oil City. Later in life, she was employed at various stores in Clarion, and was a proofreader for the Clarion News, was an assessor for Millcreek Twp, and a school director for Clarion Limestone School District. She was very involved with and a member of the Millcreek Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her four children, Jerry and Lois Newhouse, Spring, TX, Ronald Newhouse of Hudson, WI, Janice and Jesse Hall of Aspen, CO, and Howard and Helen Decker of Camp Hill, PA.

She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, Jerry Newhouse, Roxanne Vanhardingsvelt, Daniel Newhouse, Kim Newhouse, Robert Newhouse, Janine Kohn, Rebecca Horazuk, Matthew Newhouse, Teresa Linn Wilcox, William Linn, Eric Linn, Michael Linn, Beth Wright, Amy Klitz, and Mark Decker; 30 great grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Berton; her dear grandson, Luke; and her five siblings, Verna Shields Black, Letty Westerlund, Arthur Moore, Gene Moore, and Bob Moore.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 6, 2014, at the Millcreek Presbyterian Church, Fisher, with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home, 638 Wood Street, Clarion.
