Details Released on Franklin Man Injured in Suspected DUI Crash

FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — According to the Franklin Police Department, a suspected DUI crash occurred on River Drive, in Franklin, Venango County.

Franklin Police responded to a vehicle crash that occurred around 2:47 a.m. on December 9 at the entrance of River Drive.

The driver — a known, 53-year-old Franklin man — had driven off the roadway and collided with a tree.

When the Franklin Police Department arrived on the scene, it was determined that the Franklin man was driving under the influence of alcohol to the degree that he was incapable of operating a motor vehicle which caused the accident, according to police.

He was later transported to UPMC for injuries received.
