Baby Shot in Face in Cochranton

COCHRANTON, Pa. (EYT) – State Police say a toddler was rushed to a Pittsburgh area hospital after he was shot in the face with a gun on Monday afternoon in Wayne Township, Crawford County.

According to Meadville-based State Police, a two-year-old male was shot in the face with a pistol around 1:45 p.m. Monday at a residence along Sugar Creek Lane in Cochranton, Pa.

State Police say the incident happened at a home along Sugar Creek Lane in Cochranton.

There is no word on the current condition of the child.

No further information has been released.
