Distracted Driver Crashes Vehicle Off Route 8, Sandycreek Township

SANDYCREEK TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A distracted driver crashed his vehicle on Route 8 on Thursday afternoon in Sandycreek Township, Venango County.

According to Franklin-based State Police, around 4:12 p.m. on Thursday, February 8, the unidentified driver became distracted while looking at his phone while driving a 2005 GMC Envoy.

The vehicle left the right side of road and hit a business sign.

The name of the driver was not released.

It is unknown whether the driver was injured.
