ERIE, Pa. (EYT)– District 10 has released its updated basketball brackets, and the Rocky Grove boys are staying close to home while the Franklin boys’ are heading to Erie and the Rocky Grove girls to Meadville.

The Orioles boys’ team, the favorite to win the Class 2A bracket, start their quest for the title Friday when they play Iroquois, a 38-35 winner over Mercer, in the quarterfinals at 7:30 p.m. at Oil City High School.

Franklin, coming off a 61-45 win over Corry Friday, are back in action at 7:30 p.m. Thursday when the Knights play Harbor Creek in the Class 4A quarterfinals at the Prep-Villa Center in Erie.

The Rocky Grove girls, a 32-25 winner over Eisenhower Saturday, will play Cochranton in the Class 2A quarterfinals at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Meadville High School.

The Titusville boys’ will also be at the Prep-Villa Center when the Rockets take on Erie First Christian in the Class 3A quarterfinals at 6 p.m. Friday.

The Oil City girls are still waiting a location of their March 1 game with Mercyhurst Prep in the Class 3A semifinals.
