Dolores “June” Pearson, 87, of Plumer, died at 1:10 A.M. Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2017, in her home after an extended illness surrounded by her family.

Born June 29, 1930, in Plumer, she was the daughter of the late John A. Russell & Effie Huff Russell.

June was a 1948 graduate of Oil City High School and a 1952 graduate of Clarion College.

She was married on June 26, 1954, to Robert E. Pearson and he preceded her in death on Dec. 11, 2014.

Mrs. Pearson had been a school teacher for the Oil City Area School District.

She enjoyed sewing, embroidery, and gardening.

June was a member of the Plumer Presbyterian Church and the Plumer Ladies Aide.

She is survived by two daughters, Kim Pearson of Oil City, Lisa Ratliff of St. Cloud, FL.

A grandson, Eric Ratliff of St. Cloud, FL, and by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother John Russell, and two sisters Joyce Metha and an infant.

There will be no viewing or visitation.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
