Donald Gilbert Zuppello, 80, of Gum Branch Rd., Appomattox, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at his residence. He was the husband of the late Willie Moore Zuppello.

Born in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania on August 4, 1932, he was a son of the late Anthony Zuppello and Katherine Steen. He was a member of St. Andrews Reformed Episcopal Church, Springfield Masonic Lodge #217 A.F. & A. M., and was a retired electrical engineer. Don was a US Army veteran serving in the Korean War.
