Donald J. Clark Jr. (DJ), 70, of Shippenville passed away Saturday, June 28, 2014 at UPMC Hospital in Pittsburgh surrounded by family.

Born April 4, 1944 in Brookville PA he was the son of Donald and Mary Clark. On February 14, 1981, he married Cynthia Clark and she survives.

Donald graduated from Clarion Limestone High School then served in the Army. After serving in the Army he sold cars for 30 years before driving truck for Universal Forest Products. He was a member of the Spartans, the Eagles Club and the Venango County ABATE. Donald enjoyed riding motorcycle, playing with his grandkids, hunting and racing. Along with his wife.

Donald is survived by seven children; Toni Clark of Knox, Don (Tanya) Clark of Emlenton, Jessica (Mike) Kitchen of Clarion, Paul Clark of Shippenville, Eric (Kayla) Clark of Knox, Mary Martin of Kossuth, Jodi (Kirk) Heath of Knox, eleven grandchildren Alexa Kitchen, Nicole Kitchen, Westyn Clark, Kolbey Clark, Claytyn Clark, Joseph Clark, Cassandra Martin, Aaron Barr, Cayla Greenwalt, Brycon Slaugenhaup, and Brandi Slaugenhaup.

Also surviving are two sisters Martha (Darl) Schrecengost of Fairmont City, Edna Runyan of Knox, a brother Bernard (Lynn) Clark of Emmitsburg, MD and a brother in law Bill Switzer of Fairmont City.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Pauline Switzer.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm Monday June 30 at the McEntire-Weaver Funeral Home, Inc., 504 E. Penn St., Knox, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday July 1 at the Mt. Joy United Methodist Church, 158 Mt. Joy RD, Knox.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the church with the Rev. Dan Myers officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials are made to the Cancer Center at Clarion Hospital, 150 Doctors Ln, Clarion, PA 16214, or the Venango County A.B.A.T.E.
