Donald J. Wolfe, 57, of Route 36, Brookville, Pa. died on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the Brookville Hospital.

Donald was born November 18, 1954 in Butler. He was the son of James Donald Wolfe and Wilma Jane Sollinger Wolfe. His mother survives in Knox.

On August 4, 2007, he married Pokey Wolfe in Brookville, who survives.

He worked as a laborer for Glen-Gery Hanley Brick Plant in Summerville for 28 years and for the Forest Way Inn for 10 years.

Donald was an avid artist and enjoyed art, camping, hunting, his dogs, and especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his mother and his wife, Donald is survived by one son, Christopher Wolfe of Franklin; three step-daughters, Jennifer Porter of KnoxDale, Jessica Ford of Brookville and Jodi Smith of Brookville and eight grandchildren.

Also surviving are one brother, John S. Wolfe of Brookville and three sisters, Penny Karnbauer of West Mifflin, Kim Grossman of Harrisville and Tina Johnson of Hawthorne.

He was preceded in death by his father and one daughter, Amber Starr Wolfe.

Visitation at the McKinney Funeral Home in Brookville is Wednesday, August 8, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 with Karen Hughey officiatingMemorials may be made to Brookville Narcotics Anonymous.
