Donal MacormacDonald R. Macormac, 82, of Shippenville passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017.

Born April 18, 1934 in Titusville, PA he was the son of William Macormac and Bessie and John Merryman.

Don graduated from Titusville High School and then entered the US Airforce. He spent 25 years in the Airforce traveling the world working in the motor pool. After his discharge from the Airforce he bought Merryman’s Exon in Shippenville which he owned for 15 years then went to work at the book store at the Clarion University.

Don enjoyed buying and selling cars, traveling and collecting coins. He was a member of the Rod and Gun and the American Legion Post 720 in Knox.

Don will be deeply missed by his children John Macormac of Shippenville and Sheree Rials of Southaven MS, eight grandchildren Taby Macormac, John Macormac, Don Macormac Jr., B.J. Rankin, John Macormac Jr., Steven Rials, Ricky Rials, April Campbell; and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Don was preceded in death by his mother, father, step father, a son Donald R. Macormac Jr. and a brother Arthur Macormac,

The family will receive friends from 3 to 6 PM on Tuesday at the McEntire-Weaver Funeral Home 504 East Penn Ave., Knox. Funeral services will be held at 6 PM Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor John Bush of the Pine City Free Methodist Church officiating. Interment will take place at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Shippenville.

The Berlin-Bowser American Legion Post 720 of Knox will perform full military honors.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Pine City Free Methodist Church, 2682 Pine City Rd, Shippenville PA 16254.
