Donald S. Clark Jr.

Donald S. Clark Jr., 73, of Rockwood Avenue, Oil City, PA, died February 12, 2018, at UPMC- Presbyterian in Pittsburgh, from injuries he received from a fall at his home.

Born Sept. 15, 1944, in Lancaster, PA, he was the son of the late Donald S. Clark Sr. and Claire Berlin Clark. Don was raised by his stepfather Elmer “Al” Cochran.

Don graduated from Triton High School in Runnemede, NJ. He served in the United States Army from August 1962 until his discharge in July of 1965.

Don worked for the Federal Government in logistics and supply for the Army National Guard.

He was married on December 19, 1987, to Rev. June K. Stitzinger-Clark and she survives.

Don was an active member of the United Methodist Church. He enjoyed reading, embroidery, working on models, and hook rugs. Don was a crafty guy. He enjoyed using his scroll saw to make ornaments for the church. Don also enjoyed reading and learning about planes, trains, and automobiles. He always enjoyed the companionship of his dog Duke.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children and their spouses, Jason Clark and his wife Terry of Bellmawr, NJ, Carensa Cimino and her husband Frank of Berlin, NJ, Mary Clark of Somerdale, NJ, and Gerald Philip Weaver Jr. and his wife Natalie of Muncy, IN; his grandchildren, Lauren Godshaw and her husband Nick, Kirstin Clark, Jason Clark Jr., Aiden Clark, Michael Wright II, Kira Wright, Matthew Wright, Callie Weaver, and Raymond Weaver; and a great-grandaughter, Rylee. Don is also survived by three brothers, Steven Cochran and his wife Sally of South Carolina, David Cochran and his wife Marie of Delaware, and George Cochran and his wife Kim of Kentucky.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Florence Cochran.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday at 9:30 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Franklin with Rev. Jeffrey Little, Pastor, Presiding.

Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Franklin.
