Donn Jones Douglas, 80, of 5087 U.S. 322 Franklin, PA., died unexpectedly on Saturday Jan. 7, 2017 at his home.

Born Dec. 10, 1936 in Franklin, he was the son of the late George Edward Douglas & Josephine Jones Douglas.

Donn served briefly in the United States Army.

He was married to the former Joanne R. Larkin and she survives.

Donn was employed by Franklin Steel as a crane operator before retiring. He enjoyed traveling in his motorhome, was a member of the Harley Davidson Club and enjoyed watching NASCAR.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three stepchildren Dennis Flockerzi of Trout Creek, Montana, Pamela Brown of Trout Creek, Montana, and Bill Flockerzi of Oil City; the following grandchildren, Mindy Evans & her husband Rob, Misty Castner & her significant other Tony Caresa, West Flockerzi, Megan Flockerzi, Alissa Flockerzi, Matt , Justin, Adam and Betthany Brown; and by many great grandchildren.

He is also survived by two brothers Todd Douglas of North Carolina, and Curt Douglas of Oil City.

In addition to his grandparents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, April Flockerzi.

There will be no viewing or visitation.
