Donna Lynn Butler, 73, of Tionesta, died Sunday, December 31, 2017 at the Clarion Hospital in Clarion.

Born October 9, 1944, she was the daughter of the late George Bente and Patricia Briscoe Liba.

Mrs. Butler attended Langley High School.

On March 20, 1965, she married Robert Butler Jr. in Pittsburgh; he survives and lives in Tionesta.

Mrs.  Butler spent her life taking care of her family as a homemaker. Her hobbies included making crafts and baking.

She attended the Grace Lutheran Church in Brookville.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Butler is survived by four sons, George Butler of Clarion, Brian Butler and his wife, Lisa, of Marienville, Robert Butler III of Clarion, and Pete Butler of  State College; two grandchildren who were raised as her own, Jordan Butler of Tionesta and Victoria Butler of Tionesta; five grandchildren, Jake, Kayla, Hayley, April, and Crystal; and six great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are two sisters, Georgene Fink and her husband, William, of Pittsburgh and Pattie Kormick and her husband, Robert, of Pittsburgh and a brother, David Liba and his wife, Lori, of Pittsburgh.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Debra Butler and a granddaughter, Shealynn Butler.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the Furlong Funeral Home, 140 Cherry Street, Marienville.

There will be also be a visitation on Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 10-11 AM at the funeral home.  Funeral services will directly follow at 11 AM with Pastor Ben Austin officiating.

Interment will follow at Tree Trimmers Rest Cemetery in Farmington Twp., Clarion County.
