JACKSON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say around 7:54 a.m. on April 14, a one-vehicle accident occurred on Patchel Run Road, north of Bowman Road, in Jackson Township, Venango County.

According to police, 32-year-old Lisa M. Morrison, of Franklin, was traveling north in a 1999 Chevrolet Venture on Patchel Run Road and was negotiating a bend to the left.

Police say the roadway was iced over due to water overflowing from a ditch, and Morrison lost control of her vehicle when she struck the ice.

The vehicle traveled off to the west side of the roadway and struck a speed limit sign with its front end, spun in a counter clockwise position, and came to rest on the westbound side of the roadway facing east.

Morrison and two passengers, an 8-year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl, were not injured in the collision.

The vehicle was towed from the scene.
