Driver Crashes into Tree in Washington Township, Escapes Injury

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Marienville-based State Police, around 8:50 a.m. on February 19, a one-vehicle accident occurred on Old Fryburg Road, at its intersection with Fasenmyer Road, in Washington Township, Clarion County.

Police say 56-year-old Mark H. Eisenman of Lucinda was traveling west on Old Fryburg Road and lost control of his 2004 GMC Canyon when it hit a slush/icy patch while attempting to negotiate a left curve.

The vehicle went off the road on the north side and traveled approximately 100 yards over a large culvert and then struck a tree with its left front, according to police.

Eisenman was using a seat belt and was not injured.

He was charged with a traffic violation.
