Teen Injured in Rollover Crash in Sugarcreek Boro

SUGARCREEK BORO, Pa. (EYT) — A 19-year-old Franklin man was injured in a rollover crash in Sugarcreek Boro yesterday.

Franklin-based State Police say the accident took place around 7:00 a.m. on Meadville Pike.

According to police, 19-year-old Edward R. Sanford of Franklin was traveling southbound on Meadville Pike Road and was approaching a right hand curve in the roadway and entered the deep snow along the edge of the road surface causing his 2000 Ford Expedition to pull towards the ditch and embankment.

Sanford lost control of his vehicle and struck the enbankment and rolled over causing moderate damage to the vehicle.

He was using a seat belt and suffered minor injuries.

Community Ambulance transported him to UPMC.

Rocky Grove Fire Police assisted at the scene.
