Driver, Passenger Flee Scene of Crash in Scrubgrass Township

SCRUBGRASS TWP., Pa. — A one vehicle accident occurred on Tuesday evening on Emlenton-Clintonville Road in Scrubgrass Township, Venango County.

According to Franklin-based State Police, around 8:48 p.m. on Tuesday, February 27, a 1984 Ford Mustang was traveling east on Emlenton-Clintonville Road at its intersection with McCoy Road in Scrubgrass Township. The vehicle traveled into the westbound lane and then hit an embankment on the northern edge of the road and then traveled approximately 50 meters backward and came to a rest in the front yard of a residence.

The driver and passenger of the vehicle fled the scene on foot prior to the arrival of state police.

The vehicle sustained heavy front-end damage and was towed from the scene by Hovis Towing.
