Driver, Passenger Injured in Scrubgrass Township Rollover Crash

SCRUBGRASS TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Franklin-based State Police say a one-car crash occurred Saturday afternoon on Interstate 80 in Scrubgrass Township, Venango County.

According to state police, around 2:39 p.m. on September 2, 47-year-old Craig R. Jacobson, of Maspeth, New York, was driving a 2016 Lexus R35 west on I-80, east of Stone Church Road, in Scrubgrass Township. The car was traveling on a slight downhill grade, left the north berm, and hit a culvert causing it to roll over multiple times then landing upright onto its wheels.

Emlenton Ambulance Service transported Jacobson and his passenger – 20-year-old Mitchell T. Jacobson, of Maspeth, New York – to Grove City Medical Center for suspected minor injuries.

Jacobson was charged with a traffic violation.

Emlenton Volunteer Fire Department and Emlenton Police Department assisted at the scene.

Hovis Towing removed the car from the scene.
