Driver Under the Influence of Marijuana Facing Charges in Forest County

KINGSLEY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Police say a traffic stop led to DUI charges for a driver in Kingsley Township, Forest County.

Marienville-based State Police say around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, a 2005 Ford F250 SuperCab was stopped at the intersection of State Route 666 and Balltown Road.

According to police, following interaction with the driver and further investigation, it was determined the driver was under the influence of marijuana.

The driver was arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance without further incident.

Charges will be filed through District Court 37-4-03 and the driver’s name will be released upon the return of blood-alcohol concentration test results.
