DUI Checkpoint, Roving Patrols Net Ten Arrests

VENANGO CO., Pa. (EYT) – A DUI checkpoint and roving patrol in the Franklin-based State Police patrol area recently netted a total of ten arrests.

According to a press release issued late Wednesday, the Pennsylvania State Police conducted a DUI sobriety checkpoint on State Route 8 in Cornplanter Township and DUI roving patrol throughout Venango County.

The checkpoints and patrols were conducted between May 25 and May 26.

Police say the following arrests were made:
– One DUI arrest was made by DUI roving patrol.
– One DUI arrest was made by regular patrol.

There were also approximately seven summary traffic arrests, 1 PFA violation arrest, and 19 traffic warnings.

Police have not yet released specific information on the DUI arrests.
