Edna ‘Becky” R. (Edinger) Boorech, 71, of Clarview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Sligo, formerly of Parker, passed away Friday evening (4-21-17) at the Center where she had resided a number of years.

Born in Butler, Pa. on Nov. 28, 1946, she was daughter of the late Warren M. and Doris Petty Edinger.

She attended A.C.V. School at the former Emlenton building, and she was protestant by faith.

“Becky” served as leader of Brownie Troop 323, and was a member of National Senior Service Corps since 2006.

She was a longtime active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Parker Vol. Fire Dept., and was a member of American Legion Auxiliary #402 of East Brady.

Surviving are one daughter, Lisa Bartley and husband Bill and one granddaughter, Sadye Bartley, all of Parker.

Friends may call 4:00 to 7:00 PM Tuesday at H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, 201 So. Wayne Ave., Parker, where services will be conducted at 7:15 PM.

She will later be laid to rest at Parker Presbyterian Cemetery.
