Eleanor Miese

Eleanor Miese, 93, of State Route 257, Seneca, formerly of Cooperstown, died at 3:12 p.m., Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at her residence.

Born December 20, 1920 in Cleveland, OH, Eleanor was the daughter of the late Frank and Josephine (Kaltenback) Boytz.

On August 10, 1938 she married Frank Miese, who preceded her death.

Eleanor attended Euclid Central Nursing School and was employed as a nurse for Polk State School.

She was of the Protestant Faith.

Mrs. Miese is survived by her daughter, Diana Miese of Seneca and one grandchild, Taylor Miese.

In addition to her parents and husband, listed above, Eleanor was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Miese; two brothers, Frank Boytz and Charles Boytz; and three sisters, Evelyn Kozoulski, Irene Hoyt, and Joanne Galloway.

Friends will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, on Friday, April 18, 2014, from 2-4 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at the Funeral Home following visitation on Friday, April 18, 2014 at 4:00 p.m., with the Rev. Randy Kightlinger, Chaplain of the Visiting Nurses Association of Venango County Hospice and Sugar Creek Station officiating.

Interment will be in Cooperstown Cemetery.
